For a side crash they received 5 out of 5 stars. What is this even possible?? 5 out of 5 stars? Without a doubt this must have to do with the driver and passenger air bags, side head air bags, rear head air bags and side air bags. The side air bags are perfect for the third row passengers. On top of these air bags the Denver Honda Pilot also comes with 4-wheel ABS, electric stability control, brake assist and traction control. Anyone from Denver or the surrounding areas will know that will our hilly terrain the traction control is a must in winter driving. And with winter driving these safety features are bound to make any driver or passenger feel safer. And safety is a big key when driving around town this winter.
Honda Pilot Denver Fuel Efficiency
Named Honda’s award winning family SUV, has been named the MOST fuel efficient eight passenger SUV. Denver Honda Pilot is a redesigned crossover SUV that accommodates eight passengers. Unlike many that claim to adapt to more than the standard five passengers this Honda Pilot can seat adults comfortably in the third row. In addition to the third row option, the boxy frame of the Denver Honda Pilot is still perfect for heading to Costco to stock up on groceries or pack up the entire family for that family vacation to grandma’s house the state over. There is even a 10×10 tent unit available that attaches securely to the at the open rear hatch of the Honda Pilot that can sleep six people comfortably. Without surprise this cross over SUV is also fuel efficient, the all-wheel drive is 17/24 mpg and the standard front wheel drive is about 18/25 mpg. With fuel efficiency like this the Honda Pilot Denver Winter Driving won’t be as harsh on your wallet unlike others in its class.
Honda Pilot Denver LX
The Honda Pilot Denver comes standard in the LX trim options that include automatic headlights, tri-zone climate control (perfect for those cold winter days and nights), cruise control, full power accessories, the third row seating and an eight-inch center display screen. The New Denver Honda Pilot LX also comes with Bluetooth phone and audio connection, a seven speaker sound system that has a CD player and a UBS/iPod interface. The Pilot also comes standard with the rear view camera and 17- inch steel wheels. Although these items are “standard” for the Denver Honda Pilot, this crossover SUV is anything but standard with its redesign. In previous years, owners found the space to be inadequate and the controls on the display to be confusing. Now these controls are more truck-like, the display is more user friendly and the space is more comfortable than in the recent years.
Honda Pilot Denver EX and EX-L
The New Denver Honda Pilot EX model offers a little extra that goes a long way… For example the eight-way power driver seat that has two-way power lumbar adjustment, this would make any driver more comfortable for the long road trips or even the short commute. The EX adds 18-inch alloy wheels instead of the standard 17-inch steel wheels. There are also fog lights and heated mirrors (on the AWD models). The EX-L offers rear seat entertainment or the voice-activated navigation system. Unfortunately this trim option for the Honda Pilot Denver does not offer both; owners can only pick one or the other. However all is not lost when it comes to the EX-L, there is the leather upholstery, power lift gate, heated seats in the front along with the passenger seat is now automatic. There is also the sunroof, auto-dimming rear view mirror and satellite radio worth mentioning.
Honda Pilot Denver Touring
The new Touring option for the Honda Pilot Denver comes with all the EX-L trims along with the extra top of the line features. These features include the roof rails, memory functions for the driver’s seat, parking sensors for all four corners, and 115-volt power outlet. The Touring also has the 10-speaker sound system whereas the base comes with the seven speaker sound system.
